The Stromness Hotel is a 4-storey property with 42 en-suite rooms.
Built in 1901, our hotel features a thoughtfully designed layout with a variety of room types: single, double, twin, basic/deluxe triple and quadruple.
All rooms are equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and suitable desks for our business travellers.
Complimentary tea and coffee are provided in all rooms.
We welcome pets, so you can travel with your furry friends. Two well-behaved pets are allowed. Charges Apply.
Please note that dogs must be kept on leads in public areas and cleaned up after.
Guest parking is available with 9 spaces, including private and street parking.
We also accommodate tours.

For those who prefer to drink outdoors, a seating area is available outside the tea house.

Breakfast is available from 7:30 to 9:30 on weekdays and 8:00 to 10:00 on weekends.

In case of a fire alarm going off 1. Go to the fire panel and check the room the alarm is coming from 2. Ensure there is no fire 3. Go back to the panel. If it asks if you want to enable the control keys, click Approve/Tick, then type in 1234, then Silence, then Reset System 5. Go back to the room that has set off the alarm, remove the cover, and then push the little red or white button in the middle of the alarm that has been triggered back up to reset it.
