There are local shops in Headington where you can stock up on the essentials, but the for the big shopping centres and department stores, head into Oxford city centre.
Obviously, there’s plenty more to attract visitors than shops, bars and restaurants, like the 38 colleges that form Oxford University, and the events that take place on the River Cherwell, including punting, rowing and cruising. Magdalen Bridge is a big attraction, so too the Angel and Greyhound meadow.
