The Cheltenham, stylish 1-bed Victorian apartment

Located in the heart of the beautiful spa town of Harrogate, The Cheltenham is a traditional two-storey, Victorian townhouse apartment with plenty of style. Situated on a quiet side road, it is a few minutes walk to shops, restaurants & bars, Convention centre and beautiful Valley Gardens. Stylishly furnished, it can sleep up to two guests, in a comfortable King size bed (or twin beds). Cot/High chair on request (hire fee). Private enclosed outside area great for alfresco drinks.

The space
The Cheltenham provides a fantastic base for couples and friends getaways. With a stylish and colourful interior, this quirky holiday home has a bright and spacious open plan kitchen / breakfast bar and separate living room area. The perfect spot for relaxing nights in, you can watch your favourite shows on the smart flat screen TV, ask Alexa to play you some tunes or browse the bookshelf for an interesting read.

Fully equipped, the spacious and bright kitchen has everything you could need, with a long breakfast bar for convenient dining. Washing machine available.

The cosy and spacious King size bedroom is situated downstairs and can be split into twin beds if required. There is a dressing table / workspace and TV for those lazy mornings and patio doors lead onto a private enclosed patio area with table and chairs for alfresco dining.

There is a large stylish shower room with a WC and basin. Luxurious shower toiletries and hairdryer are provided for guests' use.

The Cheltenham is just a short 2 minute walk from the town centre and all the amenities Harrogate has to offer:

3-4 min walk - Harrogate Convention Centre & Harrogate Royal Hall, Bus & Train Stations, McDonald’s, Costa
5-6 min walk - Betty’s Tea Room, Piccolinos and The Ivy, Turkish Baths, Pump Room Museum, Everyman Cinema, Valley Gardens

There’s something for everyone when it comes to shopping. Whether you’re looking for antiques, arts and crafts, high-end fashion or jewellery – you’ll find plenty of unique stores and boutiques to discover. Step outside of the centre and you’ll find the Yorkshire Dales on your doorstep. Leeds, York, Knaresborough, Ripon are all accessible by bus and train.

With award winning restaurants and local pubs offering excellent real ales, it is no wonder Harrogate is voted into the top 10 places to live in the country!

Parking:
Disc parking applies on Back Granville Road and Cheltenham Mount (30 and 60 mins respectively) - we leave one in the apartment for guests' use, or you can pick up a free disc from the Tourist Info Centre or local businesses.

There is plenty of meter parking around (3 hour limit on Cheltenham Parade with free overnight parking from 6pm-8am and 6pm-10am on Sundays -please check signs) and the 'AppyParking' app makes finding a convenient space a doddle.

The long-stay Jubilee multi-storey carpark is 3-4 mins walk, or Asda (4-5 mins) is free for 3 hours or available long stay. There is also free on-street parking on Duchy/Kent Road and Clarence Drive, about 8-10 mins walk away. Further details on booking.

Other things to note
Please be aware that access to the property is via steps to the rear door. There are also steps to the bedroom. Hence, less suitable for guests with mobility issues.
